We’ve been tweaking our bitter recipe slightly with every batch in the attempt to achieve the combination of maximum pintability and satisfaction. Slight changes from Wheels off see the base malt including some low coour Maris Otter to lighten the colour ever so slightly. In the kettle, we have gone for exclusive hopping with Fuggles for that earthy, woody feel. With a slightly creamy medium body accentuating the biscuit and caramel flavours of the malts this carries just enough bitterness to reach a perfect balance for drinkability. Get pinting!
