We haven’t brewed a micro IPA for ages so it’s about time we did! This one is clocking in at 3.3% abv and is popping with hop character and a full body. Enigma, Idaho 7 and Columbus are combined to give bright citrus aromas that are supported by raspberry, grape and pine. The grist sees some little adjustments to ensure that the body and mouthfeel can support all of the hops we have thrown at this. Based on a chewy blend of Vienna malt for a little honey and Maris Otter to give biscuity goodness and then augmented by the usual suspects of wheat and oats. This is all puled together with a yeast strain that gives plenty of glycerol to enhance mouthfeel and leave plenty of protein behind for fullness. There’s a lot going on in this little one.
